Entry 8

Consulted Mr Gerald Koh about our problem regarding the I&E Statement by product. So we realised that we have to change the macro in Excel. Although this problem demoralised me abit when we first encountered it, but I'm glad that this was another new thing that I've learnt:))

Then, we proceeded with the year end closing and printed the necessary reports for the next year.

This marks the end of our ACCPAC project except that we are left with editing the theory report. Overall, doing this project has been considered rather enjoyable(minus the time when we encountered problems :p) and I hope that my group will score well:) I am thankful for the help of the tutors, my groupmates and some other friends.

Entry 7

There was a last minute meeting with our CAS group mates to do the void cheques and print our reports.

We kept facing problems with the computer. I was shocked that our report is very thick. One huge problem that we encountered was that our I&E Statement by product has no amounts at all:(

After consultation with Mrs June Yeo, we did the GL journal data entry. We were struggling with the void cheques and we don't know what to do. Hopefully we will figure it out soon. On a happier note, we were finally able to start with our theory report :D

Entry 4

Today we thought of one unique transaction and keyed it into the GL module. We also did our adjusting entries.

Entry 3

Today was yet another meeting for CAS. We continued with the GL transactions and keyed in recurring entries. After which, I helped with keying the necessary entries in the AP and AR modules. Much consultation was done with the teachers to clear our doubts. We worked till around 9 pm.

I learnt that we have to really put in more concentration when doing the project so that we can be more efficient. Time management is very important. I also had a better understanding of the AR and AP modules after today :))
